|
The city of KERMAN is in southeastern IRAN and has long been a carpet weaving centers. It is located in the center of Kerman province, 1022 km(635 miles) southeast of Tehran.Carpets from KERMAN have been appreciated by western collectors for many years. They are particularly famous for having a single medallion with an arabesque form called ESKI-KERMAN. There are, however, many different designs in KERMAN carpets and rugs. Another common famous design is the "Tree of Life."
